Employer Component

One of the components of the Women Unlimited initiative is a partnership with employers to develop a set of workplace strategies to increase the recruitment and retention of women in these fields.

Through a partnership with employers, Women Unlimited will develop workplace strategies which will support employers to increase the recruitment and retention of diverse women in trades and technology, thereby addressing skills shortages issues of employers.

Benefits to Employers

Employers will benefit through an increase in their capacity to recruit and retain skilled employees (women!) in trades and technology. Employers will also benefit from the many documented advantages of increased employment of women and increased diversity in their workplaces: access to a broader base of talent; increased capacity for innovation; return on investment in human resources; lower turnover and increased productivity.

Interested employers can contact the Hypatia Association  for more information about this component of Women Unlimited.
